Bread, white
Homemade white bread is a deeply satisfying and superior alternative to most store-bought options, offering unparalleled freshness, flavour, and control over ingredients.

Materials
- ½ tsp sugar
- 400 gr patent flour
- 7 gr dried yeast 20 g of fresh yeast
- 50 ml olive oil
- 200 ml water lukewarm
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix the flour with the salt and make a well in the centre. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in 200 ml of warm water, pour it into the well and mix with a bit of flour. Cover the bowl and let rest for 45 minutes in a warm place.
- Knead the rest of the flour with the yeast mixture and oil until a smooth dough. Cover and let rise for about 2 hours at room temperature.
- Knead the dough quickly and make a long loaf. Place on a baking paper lined baking sheet and let rise for about 1 hour
- Preheat the oven to 220 ° C and put a dish hot waterat the bottom of the oven. Bake 40 to 45 minutes until it is golden brown
