In 2004/2005 Douwe Zwart published a serial article in De Bildtse Post newspaper "De 52 boerenplaatsen aan een 500 jaar oude zeedijk" (52 farmer places along a 500 year old seawall). The articles dated 24/08/2005, 31/08/2005 and 07/09/2005 are of particular interest as they describe the earliest farms of the "van der Meij" family.
